February – Nick’s Cove – from Boat Shack to Wedding Site
When Andrea and Kurt decided to get married, they picked one of their favorite places, Nick’s Cove, for the ceremony and reception. The Boat Shack is at the end of a very, very long dock and is entirely rustic both inside and out. It was so much fun to transform it into a ceremony and reception site.
Tori Patocchi Floral Design artfully draped the entrance with a eucalyptus garland accented with roses and St. John’s wort. The inside was transformed into a warm, radiant dining area. The shack’s antique redwood tables were placed in a “T” and set with china, flatware and glassware. Teal was carried through in the vintage inspired pressed water glasses and flax linen napkins. Every item had to be transported hundreds of feet from the parking lot to the boat shack, but it was worth it!
